Casey grew up in Albuquerque and always dreamed of providing music therapy services in her home community. She attended the University of New Mexico to study Music Education for her Bachelor's degree, but always knew that music therapy was the field she truly wanted to work in. After graduating from UNM, she moved to Tallahassee, Florida to obtain her Master's of Music in Music Therapy from Florida State University. While in Florida, she received clinical training and professional experience in a variety of settings including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), preschools, parent and child play groups, K-12 school programs, adult inpatient behavioral health, and older adult and memory care facilities. She also worked with individual clients with a variety of diagnoses and support needs.
After graduating with her Master's degree, Casey returned home to Albuquerque and established Enchantment Music Therapy. She has a passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities and expanding music therapy services in Albuquerque to groups and communities that don't have access to music therapy services yet.
